Alleva Obesity Glycaemic Control is acomplete, grain-free dietetic food for adult dogs of all sizes, formulated to help reduce excess body weight and control glucose levels in dogs with diabetes mellitus.

This formula is characterized by low energy density, reduced fat content, and a controlled carbohydrate intake, to help manage energy and blood sugar metabolism.

Directions for use: Before use, and before extending the duration of use, it is recommended that you consult your veterinarian. It is recommended that you provide constant access to fresh water to allow your pet to stay as hydrated as possible. Store the product in a cool, dry place in its unopened package.
Recommended duration of use: Use the product as is until the target body weight is reached and continue thereafter if necessary to maintain the correct weight. As a guideline, the product can cover between 40% and 60% of the animal’s caloric needs, calculated based on its ideal weight. For the treatment of animals with hyperlipidemia, initial use for up to 2 months is recommended; up to 6 months for the management of diabetic animals. A transition period at the start of the diet is also recommended to allow the body to adapt to the high fiber content.
Recommended daily ration: Serve the product as is, adhering to the daily amount indicated in the table. Daily amounts may vary depending on size, environment, physical activity, and temperament. For effective weight loss, however, the daily amount recommended in the table should not be exceeded. The amount can be divided into two or more daily meals.
