Carefully selected ingredients
Choosing the right ingredients means knowing where they come from, how they were processed and what their molecular structure contains.
Panax ginseng
Natural ginseng root has been known for centuries in Eastern tradition. A number of scientific studies confirm its many beneficial properties, not only for humans but also for animals. That’s why at Diusa Pet, under the supervision of our team of vets specialised in nutrition, we decided to include this precious ingredient in some of our dog and cat kibble.
Protein source
The protein sources we select undergo strict quality control and a series of analyses. Their freshness and safety are tested microbiologically, and their nutritional value is assessed by measuring digestibility and amino acid composition.
Sugarcane fibre
Sugarcane fibre contains no calories, but it is particularly useful for cats because it helps control blood glucose and stimulates peristalsis, making it easier to expel hairballs. It is also very valuable for slowing the absorption of glucose released by starch digestion, which helps manage blood glucose.
Fruit and vegetables
Adding fruit and vegetables such as apples, carrots, blueberries and cranberries is essential to support the gut microflora and provide an effective source of antioxidants.
Fat source
Fish oil and chicken fat are preserved with natural antioxidants and analysed in detail to ensure the optimal ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 (essential in the diet of dogs and cats).
