Our story began in 1901, when we first entered the French market by creating the first line of natural products for pet care and health.

Despite all these years, our mission has remained the same: to give pet owners the freedom to choose natural products for the health and well-being of their four-legged companions.

That is why all our products undergo careful heat treatment, which is essential to ensure digestibility, taste, and the preservation of each ingredient’s nutritional qualities.

We develop dry foods for dogs and cats designed to fully meet their needs. We achieve this through a scientifically proven combination of high-quality ingredients and powerful phytonutrients.

Today, we have subsidiaries in Bulgaria, France, Italy, Russia, Japan, Poland, and Brazil, and we export to Portugal, Spain, Germany, the Benelux countries, Cyprus, Greece, Hungary, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Romania, Israel, Korea, Taiwan, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Malta, Macedonia, and Montenegro.

Our production facility is located in Europe’s most sought-after agricultural region, the Po Valley, renowned for having the world’s highest concentration of traditional agricultural products and home to numerous livestock farms and slaughterhouses.

This is where we source most of our starch, protein, and fat, as well as the majority of the ingredients used in our recipes.

Suppliers are also selected based on their production processes, which must be as integrated as possible. We take care to choose producers capable of slaughtering and processing (purifying or dehydrating) the fat or meat from the animals they raise, preferably on-site.

Carefully Selected Ingredients

Choosing the right ingredients means knowing their origin, how they were processed, and what their molecular structure consists of.

Aloe vera

It supports immune system function while promoting skin health and healing. The aloe vera we use at Diusa Pet is all-natural and produced using a patented process that ensures a very high concentration of active ingredients.

Panax ginseng / Ginseng

The natural ginseng root has been known for centuries in Eastern tradition. Numerous scientific studies have indeed confirmed its many benefits, not only in humans but also in animals. That is why, at Diusa Pet—under the supervision of our team of veterinarians specializing in nutrition—we have decided to include this valuable ingredient in some of our dog and cat kibbles.

Source of protein

The protein sources we select undergo rigorous quality control and a series of analyses. Their freshness and safety are tested microbiologically, as is their nutritional value, which determines their digestibility and amino acid composition.

Sugar Cane Fibers

Fiber derived from sugarcane contains no calories, but it is particularly beneficial for cats because it helps control blood sugar levels and stimulates peristalsis, making it easier to eliminate hairballs. It is also a very valuable ingredient for slowing the rate at which glucose released during the digestion of starches is absorbed, a factor that contributes to blood sugar management.

Fruits and Vegetables

Including fruits and vegetables—such as apples, carrots, blueberries, and cranberries—is essential for supporting gut flora and provides an effective source of antioxidants.

Source of lipids

Fish oil and chicken fat are preserved with natural antioxidants and thoroughly analyzed to ensure the optimal ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 (which are essential in the diets of dogs and cats).

Phytonutrients

At Diusa Pet, we draw everything from nature. Mother Nature is, in fact, our source of inspiration and our guide. Phytonutrients help strengthen the immune system and support digestion. They protect the liver, regulate blood pressure, and promote the absorption of calcium and magnesium.

To promote gut health and nutrient absorption, we’ve added pumpkin—a natural source of soluble fiber—to some of our recipes. It’s recommended for both diarrhea and constipation in our pets, and it’s rich in vitamins, water, calcium, iron, and zinc.

Anti-Aging Blend

We have developed a natural blend of aromatic herbs consisting of cloves, turmeric, rosemary, and lemon. This blend has powerful antioxidant and protective properties and is highly effective in preventing cellular aging.
